NEW YORK—Penthouse magazine has crowned Ryan Keely its Pet of the Year Runner-Up for 2011 after receiving a swell of write-in support from her fans. In recognition of the accomplishment, Keely will be featured in an all-new pictorial running in the March 2011 issue of Penthouse, hitting stands Feb. 15.
Making her Penthouse debut in the October 2009 issue, Keely was in contention for 2010's Pet of the Year, but when that title went to Taylor Vixen and the Runner-Up spot to Veronica Ricci, Keely's fans began an impassioned campaign for the magazine to reconsider her this year.
Upon receiving her diamond-encrusted Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-Up Key necklace, Keely gushed, "No one has ever given me diamonds before. I'm never, ever going to take this off, and this year is going to be the best ever! I want to keep working hard and representing Penthouse magazine while having an absolute blast. Being loved this much by the Penthouse readers is all kinds of awesome!"
Keely has had quite a year leading up to this honor, interviewing Resident Evil: Afterlife director Paul W.S. Anderson for IGN.com and appearing in the MTV short Escalation with director M. Night Shyamalan, as well as conducting her own pick-up artist seminar, Porn Star Sex Life, and beginning to write her own sex and dating column, "The Dirty Details," for Penthouse sister publication Penthouse Forum. She also earned the distinction of being appointed Penthouse's Official Beer Sommelier after receiving the title of Certified Beer Server through the Cicerone beer sommelier certification program, which also makes her eligible to become one of the country's few Certified Cicerones.
Ryan Keely's conferral as Penthouse Pet of the Year Runner-Up follows Nikki Benz's naming in December as the 2011 Pet of the Year.

last commentSeriously? She is the second hottest Pet of the entire year? How the mighty have fallen. I can think of at least three dancers, in one club, that have both her and the winner beat in the hotness department. And at least one of them is a pretty decent fellatrix, too.

Penthouse went tame and lame right after Chapter 11 years ago. Not worth worrying about.

GMD - Good point.
There was a time (pre-clubbing days) when seeing a seeing a beautiful young actress, model, etc. made me sigh and think, "my day has passed, I'll never have a chance with someoneo like that now."
Today I think, yeah, she's hot, but so and so at the club is just as hot, and she lets me play with her boobs!

Having come from the era of remembering Playboy's first glimpses of pubic hair, and then Penthouse and Oui's more complete exposure of the female anatomy, thinking about cracking open a Penthouse today seems anachronistic. I used to ride my bike to a nearby department store and surreptitiously browse the magazines, appearing to "stumble" upon a copy of Penthouse. "Oh my," my expression seemed to say, "what have we here?" Of course, if I could find an already well-thumbed copy lower in the rack, placed among more innocent titles by some previous monger-in-training, all the better; it meant I wouldn't have to conspicuously reach back to the top rear shelf for a fresh one.
Oh those were the days... NOT! I'm with GMD that while she's cute (and natural, thank the boob gods), there are at least a half-dozen cuties at my nearby strip club who, for damn near the price of a Penthouse magazine, will strip bare and give me a very up close and personal 3D view of their female charms, complete with vocal support, beautiful smelling skin, and tactile joy. Come to think of it, THESE are the good ol' days!
