One gal wanted to go back in the VIP badly she said she would dance for free back there until the DJ played the next full song (they were doing a birthday party on stage). But unfortunately her friend was bit of a ROB and said "i'm not dancing for free"...I decided to just use my cell phone to keep track of time and told her it would only be for 5 minutes.

Is Tycoons that club that tries charging a $20 cover and giving you two free drink tickets? I know Tycoons owner recently got in trouble for cheating on his taxes.

TUSCL has the cover charge as $0 for day and $10 for night. Maybe they just do that $20 bundle on saturday evenings when you went?

The post that was quoted was mine. Yes, they only charge a cover at night. I always go during the day. I did not pay a cover charge, but I did have to pay a $6 valet charge and $20 to use the VIP. It is kind of irritating, but it is more than made up for by the dancers. I never pay more than $150 for "full service", and to get a two for 1 deal was above and beyond. And there were times when I would last for about 10 dances and still only had to pay $150. $15 per dance for full service is a damn good deal. Compare that to the last time I went to The Coliseum just a few blocks down 8 Mile Rd from Tycoons. I met an old friend there who I remembered did not do oral sex, but did a pretty good hand job. Not wanting to spend a lot of money, we went in the back for two songs. There was no charge to use the VIP, and when we were done with the two songs, I gave her $100 because I knew that Coliseum was more expensive than Tycoons. I thought I was being very generous but she said that wasn't enough. She needed $25 per dance PLUS $100 for the hand job! So I paid $150 for two songs and a hand job. Needless to say that was the last time I went to the Coliseum.

samsung1, I haven't been to Tycoons of late, but yes, I've seen on the electronic sign outside as I drove by that the cover is $20 at night and that includes 2 drinks. That is Nick's business model. He guarantees he makes $20 off each customer and he sells booze that way also. The VIP booths in back were a good time the last time I was in and if the customer does have to pay $20 to use the VIP, that sucks. I recall paying $5 the last time I was in, it's been a while.I'll take runnoft's word for it, he has recent knowledge. It isn't surprising. Nick the owner is a scumbag, he's out to squeeze every nickel out of the customer.

It could be that they only charge $5 for the VIP at night because they already got $20 at the door. I only go to strip clubs during the day for several reasons, no cover just being one of them. I also find that at most clubs, you get higher mileage during the day. Also, almost all Vice Squad raids come on the night shift. But the bottom line is, after paying $20 to get into the VIP, you can get for $150 what would cost $300 at other clubs, so it is still a good deal. As far as the owner being a scum bag, Hey, aren't they all?

"Do you like dancers double teaming up on you?" I'll bet his answer is yes. Sometimes it is just a matter of being in the right place at the right time. That is why I ALWAYS take plenty of money and a condom with me on any strip club visit.

Larry, the day manager, is a cool dude, if a bit distracted by the women. His focus on the club needs to be sharpened. Nick, the owner, is under a tax charge from the feds. Stay tuned.

Okay, since I only go there in the afternoons, I have never met Nick. The day guy seems nice enough, though. There is a bar in my neighborhood that is not a strip club but used to hire young girls just out of high school as waitresses and then the manager would make them dress like they were even younger. He would find an excuse to get a girl up in his office and then attack them. Actually, my pic is of a few of the girls that used to work there. And they did finally get rid of the asshole manager.

It seems like all Detroit area strip clubs are full of prostitutes, scummy owners, and women who are the victims of human trafficking.
