Prostitution bust made at Bellaire massage parlor

BELLAIRE, TX (KTRK) -- A massage parlor owner and employee have been arrested in connection with prostitution charges.


Bellaire police say a joint investigation was initiated two months ago regarding allegations of prostitution occurring at the business "Massage" in the 5300 block of Bellaire Blvd. The investigation led to the arrest of an employee, Wanqun Peng, 52, last week. Peng was charged with two counts of solicitation/prostitution.
The owner of the business, Anna Wu, 61, was arrested and charged with a violation of the Texas Occupation Code for allowing an unlicensed employee to perform massage therapy.
Bellaire police say they called in other agencies to assist in the investigation as most of their officers are known within the community which limits their ability to work undercover in the area.
