Winning Powerball Ticket Bought at Strip Club

I heard a great interview on the radio years ago that talked about what to do if you won the lottery.

1. Don't claim it right away! Take time to set up your financial and legal teams before you come forward. Since your name will be out there once you claim the prize, everybody is going to come after you to get it. Do everything you can to protect yourself before anyone even finds out you are going to have all that cash. Look at how many lottery winners end up broke.

And it's ok to be in an adult entertainment store...you were just there to get some goofy prizes for a bachelor party or something.

haha yeah the serious question for him is what is more important? his faithful marriage or the millions of dollars from the lotto.

Even if he loses half the winnings in a divorce, he'll still come out way ahead.

I don't think the spouse will be too upset at being entitled to a few million. The individual could probably buy the strip club now and be the new manager.

Yeah this guy is set for life...even if 90% of it goes to taxes and waste he will still have millions left over.

Today the ticket holder came forward and claimed the prize. He says it was bought for a loosely associated group of his buddies. They took the $69 million lump sum to be split up between the "2 to 100" members of the group. When asked why he bought the ticket there, the man brushed off the question. LOL
