I was thinking about the songs that best capture the stripper experience. There have been a lot of songs about strippers. An early one was "The Stripper" by the David Rose orchestra, which is an instrumental composition from the 1950's. Of the more contemporary stripper songs, these are the three I think are the best:
1. "Porn Star Dancing" by My Darkest Days
2. "Titty Dancer" by Dan Diamond
3. "The Stripper Song" by Night/Stevie Lange
If you're not familiar with these songs, you can find them on YouTube.
What stripper songs do you think are best?

There's an old jazz standard called "Acapulco", an instrumental that was practically the national anthem of stripping back in the '50s and '60s.

is it just me or is something strange about trying to use youtube on an iphone/ipad? It is like they censor out legit results and replace them with amateurs doing cover songs or live concert editions of the songs. When I search on my pc I get legit results and can listen to the real editions of songs. Nickleback's song "Next Contestant" is about a stripper and her boyfriend or PL who gets jealous of every guy "contestant" who comes up to her trying to get in her pants. "Girls Girls Girls" is another oldie. I like using [view link] to discover new songs that are similar to the ones I like.

"You can take your hat off" is good...that scene from 9 and half weeks was pretty good.

"Sway" by Dean Martin is one of the best jass/swing song for the stage. I loath the constant hip-hop/rap in some clubs

There is also the I’m in Luv Wit a Stripper remix featuring r kelly. His verse was the most entertaining for me. Also "tipper love" by dj drama.

"Nasty Naughty Boy" by Christina Aguilera is a great song done in the classic style. It makes a great stripper song. Other songs I have received great dances to are: "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails "Next Contestant" & "Animals" by Nickelback "Yeah" by Usher And many more I can't remember, but they were good.

"You can leave your hat on" is THE one for a classic dance. Also very populair with newer & faster acts: "Face down, ass up" (by Lords of Acid). Plenty of songs are great to use, but the dancer will make it work (or not)!

Butterfly by Jason Mraz really captures the dynamic.

I rarely hear anything I really enjoy since I am more metal than anything else. A few old AC/DC, ZZ Top and such are always nice.
