MEMPHIS, TN (WMC-TV) - Much of the action was outside Babes of Babylon early Thursday morning. Memphis Police say former employee Sabrina Hatcher shot at three men after they refused to allow the 24-year-old to return to work inside the strip club.
Later Thursday, Action News 5 found evidence of one of at least four shots Hatcher is accused of firing from a .22 caliber handgun.
Nobody inside was willing to say much, but one employee was relieved Hatcher was locked up.
"Don't nobody want to be a victim of senseless violence, so whatever happens, I guess the judicial system will take care of that process," the man said. "But I can't make any more comment on that."
The victims claimed Hatcher fired the shots from the passenger seat of a car, while she blamed the driver.
But she said she only knew him as "Randy."
Police did not buy her story and charged Hatcher with three counts of aggravated assault.
A woman at the address Hatcher provided to police quickly kicked us to the curb.
"Don't bring that camera over here!" she said.
She later closed the open gate we initially entered without commenting on Sabrina Hatcher's arrest.
Hatcher was being held on a $45,000 bond.
