Small, portable and porn-friendly, Apple's tablet is the new “must have†device

When Apple released the iPad, few expected the level of response and number of sales that came so quickly. With millions sold, it's safe to say that the iPad isn't merely a fad or a cool geek gadget. Tablets are here, and the moment you get your hands on one you'll know why people are raving about them and why they're likely to become the next “must have†tech device.
Initially much of the adult industry scoffed at the idea that the iPad was the next big thing. But it just might be, and the number of companies boasting about their iPad-optimized paysites supports the claim.
To some the reasons are as obvious as they are abundant. First, the iPad is portable. It's sleek, it's lightweight and it's flat. You can carry it with one hand, and tuck it under your arm or in a book bag. It's not cumbersome like a laptop and requires no space to operate. You can hold it or set it on any flat surface. As a bonus, it doesn't need to boot up each time you use it. Simply scroll the touch screen's unlock slider, and you're ready to go.
For porn the biggest draw may be that the iPad is private. It's difficult to hide a laptop or put it away gracefully if someone interrupts your personal time. The iPad can be put away quickly, and there's no screen to flip down or close. One touch of a button closes the window, and browsing history can be cleared quickly.
The days of men being relegated to secret late-night jerk sessions after the wife and kids are asleep may be coming to an end. It's ideal for travel and makes it easy for a guy to enjoy his porn without worrying about his wife or girlfriend catching him. The device is small enough to be concealed in a newspaper or magazine. It's quite possible for your significant other to never even know you have one, let alone what you're doing with it.
The device also offers easy connectivity. Its use of wi-fi means it can connect to any wireless network, be it your home, hotel or a remote location. There's no knowing how many have already been seeking solace and taking care of their business in the bathroom stalls of their favorite coffee joint. And it's all thanks to their iPad.

You can watch your movies without an internet connection. The biggest problem I see is that AT&T's edge network is not very reliable. I get 3G fine at my house where I could just use my wifi connection. When I travel it ends up going to their much slower unreliable edge network. The other drawback is that if you watch youtube videos, the video quality is terrible with 3G. I don't even bother it is that bad. I have watched youtube videos at home where I have a wifi connection but I can just as easily turn on my computer. It is great for surfing the net while being a couch potato watching tv at the same time and reclining back.

I am happy most of the time when traveling if I get a connection going with the AT&T edge network and if it stays working long enough not to drop me. It works very slowly when it is working if the signal goes inside a building. Maybe that's not the same everywhere but that is my experience. I mainly use it to access the internet for business reasons and a couple of blogs when it is picking up a signal I can use. I imagine this condition is going to get worse and worse as more people clog the wireless datastream.

When I first saw the iphone and tried it out, I think I asked someone in Best Buy if they had a product with a bigger screen and one that had a data only plan that worked like the iphone. I was happy to see the product appear.
Now if they can get cheap cell phones with no monthly or yearly contracts and one low prepaid card that will last at least a year or two without any renewals for those that aren't currently using cell phones, I might buy that too. I think they have that already except for the prepaid cards expire after 1, 2 or 3 months. I don't know why they can't have the cards last a whole lot longer. I guess someone sees big profits in making the cards expire every month or two rather than seeing how many non cell phone users they might acquire if their cards lasted a whole year or two.
