MYFOXNY.COM - Some residents of West Babylon, Long Island, are furious that an infamous strip club is still open for business in their community even though a court agreement ordered it to shut down.

In 2005, Long Island Cafe Gentlemen's Club signed a court agreement to close by November 2009. But more than nine months after that deadline, the club is still open -- and even hiring.

Some residents have said they are fed up with the environment fostered by the strip club. One family told Fox 5 News that they have found condoms and drug paraphernalia near their property.

Babylon Town Supervisor Steve Bellone said that the club is in a residential neighborhood that is not zoned for adult entertainment. He said that the club needs to move to another part of town that is zoned for it.

Fox 5's Andrea Day requested comment from the club's owners, but was told to leave the premises. Also, no one representing the club has responded a Fox 5 phone call requesting comment.

The case is back in federal court.

Crapola, I was just there in West Babylon last week. I should have stopped in and helped them stay there. Long live defiant strip clubs. LOL
