Brownsville police arrested a 30-year-old man Thursday morning after he allegedly refused to pay his tab at a local strip club, ac-cording to a police report.
Alejandro Francisco Alfaro was charged with theft of Service Class B after he allegedly ran up a bar tab of $127.99 —not includ-ing the $350 he owed a dancer at the club for providing entertainment, the report stated.
The manager of the club claimed that Alfaro tried to flee the scene on foot in order to avoid paying the tab, but bouncers caught and detained him until police arrived, the report stated.
Once the authorities arrived and asked Alfaro to pay his tab, he refused and wanted to call his lawyer, the police report states.
Police said that the suspect reeked of alcoholic beverages, had slurred speech and blood shot eyes.
Although the dancer did not want to take action against the customer, the manager filed theft charges against Alfaro.

I just checked on tuscl how many strip clubs there are in Brownsville, TX and it seems like only 1. The city is near the border of Mexico.
