Thirty-six-year-old Juan Barrera escaped from a Panamanian prison in early 2008 and was arrested by federal authorities in Washington, D.C., this past January.

An escaped murder who entered the United States illegally used a fake Social Security card to obtain federally subsidized housing, the Washington Examiner reports.

Thirty-six-year-old Juan Barrera escaped from a Panamanian prison in early 2008.

Barrera was arrested by federal authorities in Washington, D.C., this past January and, according to the paper, told authorities he used the fake Social Security card to obtain a driver's license and secure his subsidized apartment.

The FBI began an around-the-clock investigation of him after an anonymous caller claimed Barrera was planning to fire a rocket launcher at a Metro train.

Authorities said in court documents that authorities concluded that Barrera did not own a rocket launcher and was not planning to attack a Metro train, according to the paper.

Go to Fox News website if you want to whine about illegal immigration. Or maybe you can call Rush.

Good friends, sweet friends, let me not stir you up
To such a sudden flood of mutiny. 1755
They that have done this deed are honourable:
What private griefs they have, alas, I know not,
That made them do it: they are wise and honourable,
And will, no doubt, with reasons answer you.
I come not, friends, to steal away your hearts: 1760
I am no orator, as Brutus is;
But, as you know me all, a plain blunt man,
That love my friend; and that they know full well
That gave me public leave to speak of him:
For I have neither wit, nor words, nor worth, 1765
Action, nor utterance, nor the power of speech,
To stir men's blood: I only speak right on;
I tell you that which you yourselves do know;
Show you sweet Caesar's wounds, poor poor dumb mouths,
And bid them speak for me: but were I Brutus, 1770
And Brutus Antony, there were an Antony
Would ruffle up your spirits and put a tongue
In every wound of Caesar that should move
The stones of Rome to rise and mutiny.

Gotta wonder how many illegal immigrants are working at strip clubs along the borders in California, Texas, etc...My guess would be very few since they probably get pushed into escorting.

Samsung1, you're are probably right, but there are probably still quite a bit in the strip clubs too. I was in a club the other night trying to converse with some Russian chicks that could not speak a lick of English.

Dubai encourages businesses to hire people from other poor countries to come here and work. They have them sign contracts that are a decade long and then take their passports. Even though taking passports is supposedly illegal, the government knows it happens and does nothing to enforce the law. These poor people are promised a certain pay, but the companies neglect to tell them they will be deducting their cost of living from their paychecks, leaving them virtually penniless – that is, if they choose to pay them. Companies hold back paychecks for months at a time. When the workers strike as a result, they are jailed. Protesting is illegal, you see (apparently this law IS enforced).

These people will never make enough to buy a ticket home and even if they do, they do not have their passports. They live crammed in portables with tons of others, in highly unsanitary conditions. The kicker: they are building hotels that cost more to stay in for one night than they will make in an entire year. Things are so bad that a number of laborers are willing to throw themselves in front of cars because their death would bring their family affluence in the form of diya, blood money paid to the victim’s family as mandated by the government.
