  I'd stay far away from them, imo, because yes, they are "scammy" in that they use your IP address to show you girls "in your area" but those girls are the same ones for all of us. I know at work, my IP makes it look like I'm in the Atlanta, GA area, while my home IP shows my true location. They are the same girls with the same names in the adds.
  
  My advice is to hit up theeroticreview.com and find one of those if you are interested. And in my experience, you are FAR better off avoiding the service provider companies. Instead, look for the independent girls. Service provider companies always require a minimum fee up front (most seem between $200 and $300), before you even begin to negotiate services with the girl. Also, they NEVER send you the girl in the picture, and in fact many of the pictures are just stolen from online porn sites or purchased stock footage. There are tons of independent girls on TER. It's very much like this site.
  
  I've heard some mixed reviews about adultfriendfinder.com and other similar sites. Some rave about it and say they've found several booty-call-buddies from it, others say it's mostly just hookers broadening their marketing campaign. I will say that most of the girls on those sites seem to be of the heavier variety from what little I've seen. But YMMV.

  Also always check reviews on the escorts before paying for them. I am not a hobbyist but I know there are websites out there that offer reviews to help determine the ROBs. For example, I read one review claiming he paid $200, then was told by the escort that was the door fee and she performs based off tips. He tipped $100, and she said that was only good enough for a handjob, not full service!

  Shadowcat, your talk about not getting the girl in the photo is well known in Europe, it's called 'bait and switch' and is widespread amongst the more downmarket agencies. Generally speaking if a girl looks to good to be true then it won't be. As for reiew sites the UK has a well known one for escorts (Indies and agencies) the world over, its captain69.co.uk . I have seen girls in several countries after finding them on this site.
