A Tour Of The South

Our first stop was New Orleans, where we visited SheShes Gentlemens Club. With a name like SheShes we weren't really sure what to expect but we took a chance, being that the city of New Orleans had just given strip clubs permission to reopen (due to covid19) and their site said they were open. SheShes was a very small club what I like to call "a hole in the wall" but sometimes those are the best ones. Everything at this place was small though, they had small tables and chairs for you to sit at and and they served drinks in small kiddie cups. My boy and I joked that they should call it Klub Kindergarten. The dancers definitely were not in kindergarten though they definitely had the talent. There weren't very many customers at the time we were there and they did have empty VIP sections roped off but for some reason the dancers didn't want to go there for more comfortable dances, it was as if they were waiting for someone to show up and purchase the sections but no one ever came. So I settled for a few dances in the kiddie chairs and a few standing at the bar while drinking out of my kiddie cup. Overall I will say that SheShes has great potential but it didn't live up to it that night.
Our next stop was Memphis. When we first got to Memphis of course we went down to Beale street where we met a very interesting man on a bike who told us an incredible story about how he's trying to help underprivileged kids and homeless people, after we gave him a donation he told us "I don't have anything to do with drugs but if y'all are looking for some pussy give me a call, I got a stable full of em!". Later that night we went to a couple of strip clubs but they were all no go's either they were obviously closed or only had one car in the parking lot, I'm guessing due to the pandemic or we were just there on the wrong night. So I went back to the hotel and my boy went looking for our friend on the bike.
The next stop was Atlanta where we visited a couple of clubs. Our first stop was Magic City. It is a very well known strip club so when they told us it was a $60 cover we paid it because hey you only live once right. Well the place was jam packed full of people. We saw no place for the dancers to give dances and there was barely any room to walk around and the ciggerette smoke was suffocating. My boy and I ordered drinks and hugged the wall while we gulped them down and promptly left the building 15 minutes after arriving. I'm sure that was somebody's idea of fun so I can't knock the place because they had some gorgeous entertainers but it wasn't our speed. Next we hopped in an uber and headed over to a place called Ace of Clubs. Now this was more our speed. It was in a strip center but the inside was nice. We were able to grab some lounge chairs and a table and at $10 a dance we had a great night of entertainment. The next night we went to the world famous Blue Flame. Being as popular as the club is I thought that it would be bigger but we had a great time. The dancers were beautiful and they only charged $5 a dance! That is unheard of and they were honest about it too. After 4 dances from the first dancer I tried to give her $40 and she just kept on dancing to make up for the money I gave her and every dancer after her did the same exact thing, it was unbelievable to me. I will definitely go back there if I'm ever in Atlanta. The only wierd thing is that the security were carrying automatic weapons, gladly they didn't have to use them that night.
Our next stop was Savannah. My purpose for stopping there is that I used to be stationed in nearby Ft Stewart and wanted to visit my old stomping grounds. But Savannah was pretty slow the night we were there, River street was empty, and we went to one strip club that was closed and another that was just lame, we had a drink and left.
Our last stop on the tour was Miami. The first strip club we went to there was called Foxxy Lady. Now my friend and I have two totally different strip clubbing styles, but we usually work well together. He is more flashy, he likes to get lots of 1's and stack them on the table and throw them in the air, I rarely ever get 1's, I dont need everyone knowing how much money I have. He likes to wear big gaudy jewelry, I like to keep my jewels tucked in. In other words he's very out going and I'm more reserved. I said all of that to say that our combination didn't work at all for me at this club. He had dancer after dancer all over him the whole night while I was completely ignored and we were sitting at the same table, (also I actually had more money to spend than him). So I personally can't say anything good about this place but my boy had a blast. Our last club we visited on the tour and one of the best times I've had in my 20 years of strip clubbing was Tootsies Cabaret. I consider this place the Disney World of strip clubs, I was like a kid in a candy store. This place is huge! Upon arrival we were patted down as expected, some guy asked if we wanted to purchase a private table for $200, we declined because we didn't know what to expect inside, another guy asked if we wanted a section for $20 so we jumped right on it. We were taken inside this huge warehouse of a club and were seated on this couch that could hold 20 people if need be. There weren't that many other customers but there were plenty of gorgeous dancers, Black, White, Latino, Cuban, Asian and whatever else you can think of. We had a rotation of all of them coming to our section all night until abruptly at midnight they announced they had to close because the police were there enforcing the new Covid19 curfew in the city of Miami. I can't wait to get back to Miami and visit Tootsies though.
Overall this was a much needed trip, like I said we did much more than going to strip clubs but it was a major part of the trip and instead of writing reviews for each club I wanted to write an article about the trip as a whole, hoping someone enjoys reading it and is inspired to do something similar of their own.
