The Club That Saved Me

So if you have read my articles in the past or any other stories on here you know that my favorite Club is Pure Gold but do you know why?
Let's all get into our Doctor Who Tardis and go back in time. Pure Gold opened as a Naughty and Nice Shop and later would add Dancing Girls who gave a good time. The smaller of 3 clubs in the area they struggled for years but always maintained to outlast the bad comments and reviews and kept adding to their store as well as talent.
They once brought in Top Talent but found it to be too expensive for them to operate after some of the talent didn't show or asked for more money before going on. They also did some UFC type fighting events where the girls from the club would be Ring Girls in a way to advertise the club.
So now that we've had a brief history lets get back into the Tardis and Time Travel some more to the year of 2015. Late in the year I got a message from someone associated with the club stating they liked my work and would like to see if I could come in and check out their club and write about it. I hesitated at this for a few months but they kept asking and finally in 2016 I broke down and did it.
WOW! This isn't what I thought it was. I walked in and paid my fee only to be met by a very petite AA Girl who took me by the hand and asked if she could give me a tour. She gave me a tour alright. I got to see not only the club but I got to see what she had to offer right away as well. I was hooked so I thought as I got 3 dance sets from her that first night only to go back the week later and the week after that. But then it was over.
After seeing her 3 weeks in a row she was gone. She never came back. Was it me? No of course not but it almost made me quit the club life completely. I hated that I thought I found some fun and she was gone. So on a Monday night I called the club and talked with the manager and he told me I need to come back. The one that got away has nothing on the one who is here now and you are going to love her.
Steve could not have been more right about that. I found my Best Friend 15 years ago in Feb and nothing will ever change how I feel about her but now I found the girl I have been searching for ALL MY LIFE and I don't know what the future holds nor do I want to look into the future but live in the present because regardless of how you look at it something much stronger than all of us in the universe brought us together. From the first contact to please come into the club to the day I walked in to the day I almost quit to where we are now something / someone brought us together and I have Pure Gold to thank for that.
So regardless of how others may feel about this club I will always hold them in high regard because not only did they bring me the Love of my LIFE they care about me. Each time I go they always have me phone or send a message to let them know I made it home. They always ask about my health and they are always willing to lend advice as well as a helping hand. They are small but they are Fierce. They are My Club and I will always love how much they have done for me and do for me.
Now that we are back on solid ground from our Tardis trip I hope you enjoyed this little trip down memory lane and understand how one club how one girl will always be everything I could ever ask for.
