My First Audition at an NYC Strip Club

I am a new upcoming dancer in the NYC/NJ area. After doing all the research possible and buying shoes and clothes, I decided to finally go and try out. I wanted to go to New York Dolls. I hopped on the bus then subway. I went in during the day for an audition around 1pm. The club is right by the subway on Murray St making it an easy commute. The doorman outside was welcoming, as well as the coat check girl and the security guard inside. Carpeted floors of course, with full bar to the left, and 3 pole stages to the right. Was only about 3 or 4 customers at the time.
I met the manager and she guided me downstairs to get changed. I was very nervous. The house mom downstairs was very welcoming and the dancers as well. The dancers were BEAUTIFUL and EXTREMELY NICE. As i changed, I began to feel at ease. Back on the main floor, there is a curtain that leads to the lap dance area where there are couches, tables and a stage with 4 poles. The manager told me to get on stage and take my dress off. I wasn't as scared as I thought I would be. I felt a little awkward and wasn't quite sure how to move my body but I winged it. Audition went well and just waiting for a call back.
Overall is a nice and clean club and everyone is friendly and welcoming. The dancers are absolutely stunning and very very nice people. I will be auditioning at other clubs in NYC but I prefer day shift being that I am just beginning. Will keep you updated.
