I noticed that the information for Mexico City is outdated. I'm living here now and decided to venture out and see what's out there.
Years ago the scene was fantastic here in my opinion, there were strip clubs everywhere. The mileage was the better than anything I'd found in the US, and even though the doormen and bartenders would rip you off on occasion, I still ended up spending a lot less money than I was used to. It seemed like all the clubs had private rooms where anything was possible. That has all changed. In about 2012 the city government decided to start shutting these places down. I've been told a variety of reasons, some say it was illegal all along and was simply tolerated before, but it really looks to me like new laws were put into place. In any case, the "table dance" clubs as they're known down here have been outlawed, mainly because of prostitution. Yes, prostitution is legal in Mexico (the country) but just like in the US the states decide what is allowed and what isn't. Cartel violence in some states has brought about changes in those states. Yet it appears to still be business as usual for the escorts here in DF.
A couple of weeks ago I alerted TUSCL of several clubs I could verify as being permanently closed and they've been removed. I submitted a new one for review, Queen's on Insurgentes, but it hasn't been added yet. I'm guessing because TUSCL hasn't been able to verify it, maybe because they don't want any attention.
Queen's is one of the few to still be in business and I assume it's because they very strictly follow the law. They seem to always have more than 20 girls, and surprisingly almost all 10s!! I suppose with the lack of competition they don't have to settle for less? More available dancers than before? I don't know why. They do have private rooms for private dances (2500 pesos for 30 minutes, US$160), but they're not so private the bouncers can't keep an eye on you. Great mileage and plenty of mutual touching with a topless girl, but your pants must stay on! Nevertheless, you'll leave there satisfied. Not what I really want, but not bad considering how gorgeous the girls are at this place.
So the places I know about that are open or business:
Queen's Club in Roma Norte (detailed above) Cardenales on Eje Central across from Plaza Garibaldi (Cabbie told me there was private action there, but that hasn't been my experience yet) Men's Club in Zona Rosa (listed on the site, seemed a little expensive when I visited so I didn't stay, but the 6 girls there looked great) Sara O on Insurgentes south in colonia Napoles (still haven't tried it yet but I'm told it's very similar to Queen's)
There are a few still here on TUSCL that I haven't verified whether they're open or not.

Great job on the update Lance. Wish I had this information when I was in Mexico City a couple of months ago. I stayed in Roma Norte and had no idea that a strip club was walking distance from the place I was staying!
I will check it out next time. Most of th information on Mexico City. You have to rely on locals.
It sucks that such a liberal metropolis has so few strip clubs.
