Was back in Detroit for work...

Was back in Detroit for work and made my 5th visit to the PHC over the past 8 months. I'd not experienced the bias towards regulars that others had complained about on my previous visits. There were always plenty of hot girls dancing and most would come up and say hello even though I was sitting by myself at the downstairs bar or walking around upstairs. This time was a little different though. I sat at the downstairs bar and got very little attention. Two girls came by, but I was holding out for others.

Anyway, while I waited, I asked for a water with my Jack and Coke. The bartender told me she wasn't supposed to serve water except in bottles, but I had tipped her well with my first drink and since I had ordered a second, she gave me waters with my drinks when I asked. I had to work early the next day and didn't want to get too smashed. She also bought me my 5th drink, which was nice of her. The bartenders and waitresses here are cute to very hot. Even though downstairs is supposed to be no smoking, there was a guy smoking at the bar. I think I recognized him from a couple previous visits, so apparently membership as a regular does have its privileges.

Anyway, since I wasn't getting much in the way of approaches, I waited til a girl I liked was dancing on the bar, tipped her and asked if she'd come by when she finished her song. She agreed and after a short conversation we headed upstairs to the rooms that run parallel to the stage. She told me that usually she does not approach anyone at the bar but did not give a reason. She did say that if you sat at the tables along the stage, you'd get lots of attention. I'd always been fine sitting at the bar, but who am I to argue.
