How does this place stay open?...

How does this place stay open? One dancer on Monday night. And she wasn't even out on the floor. The bartender had to go get her from the dressing room. Oh, I was the only customer there, too, when I got there. (Eventually, a couple wandered in. Dunno how long they stayed.)

The dancer and I sat and talked at the bar while I had a drink. The bartender chimed in a few times when she was nearby. Nice enough conversation with a pretty girl, but gee whiz. When I was nearly done with my drink, she asked if I wanted a dance. I said "sure" and we went over to a corner table. "Lifeless" doesn't begin to describe the dance. I talked with her for a couple more minutes, then faked a call from work and left.

Oh, and Princess (my fave there) doesn't dance there anymore. AND I lost her number. :-(
