I stopped by Scarlett's this afternoon....

I stopped by Scarlett's this afternoon. Now, I know you have to give some leeway because it is a beautiful Saturday afternoon and a holiday weekend to boot, but damn. There were only about five girls working and even less patrons at 5pm. The five that were working weren't bad but since the crowd was pretty much me and a couple, none of the dancers were all that enthusiastic. They just were going through the motions. I spent my $20 in "Scarlett's Bucks" on stage tips and was ready to leave. One of the dancers wandered over before I could get the last two bills out and we chatted for a bit and she hit me up for a dance. I figured what the hell, let's give her a try because her stage dance was the most energetic of all the ones I saw. She sold the fact that the private dances were fully nude. Thirty for the first dance and then fifteen for every dance after that. Not a bad deal if the dancer is right.

It turns out that you have to decide up front how many you want and pay the bouncer before you even go back. I paid the troll for two and we headed back. The CD room is little chair and a half sized couches with big wings to shield you from the guy sitting right next to you. These chairs have pretty much just enough room for the guy to sit in. I was wondering how the dancer was going to straddle, CG, and all the other patented moves that comprise a good couch dance. Well, I needn't have wondered. She spent about 1/2 of the first dance half way across the room "Stripping". Hell, I needed binoculars. After that production was out of the way she then proceeded to deliver the WORST complete air dance. At one point, she got close enough and my hand brushed her thigh and I got this look like I was a serial killer on probation. I almost just told her to stop but I figured that since she was already paid, she should at least work for it.

What a waste of time and some cash. I will not be going back to Scarlett's
