Where Jersey Rednecks and Educated Black Girls Hang Out

I'd been here once before and it was pretty bad, but I didn't want to judge it on one night. Going on a Monday night probably wasn't the best sample, but I was in the area and decided to stop by and see what was up.

In Western New Jersey near the PA border, Obsessions sits on Rt 31 between Clinton and Washington. It's probably the whitest part of Jersey besides Cape May. Yet, when I entered around 9:30p on a Monday night, there were majority black dancers. Ample parking in the back, entrance also in the back, looks like a house converted into a bikini bar. No cover paid.

Last time I was here, they had the laziest bartender I've ever seen. This time, new bartender and she's attentive. Bar is directly in front of the entrance and I sit down, she asks me what I'm having and I order a Jack and coke for $8 or so. I look around and see about 4 other PLs, half sitting with their regular dancers I guess. Like I said, majority of dancers are black with a couple of hipster, tatooed white girls and some overweight Latinas. Not great quality dancers but I eye a few 6s.
