For anyone who hasn't been to...
For anyone who hasn't been to Casa Diablo, I can only say that it isn't like any other strip club in Portland. The biggest difference is the stage dancing. For your $1 or $2 tip, you will almost certainly get a mini lap dance from some of the dancers. And although short, it'll probably be pretty darn good. Whether you tip $1 or $2 doesn't seem to matter. What does matter is how many guys are at the rack during that song and what the dancer feels like. It's best when the club is busy enough that they put two dancers on stage at the same time. Then one dancer takes the end closest to the bar and the other takes the end closest to the front door. (For those of you who haven't been here, the stage is about 20 feet long.) After one song, a new dancer takes the end of the stage closest to the bar, the one moves down to the far end and the one at the far end comes off the stage. During this setup, each dancer only has to dance for one end of the stage. You'll have a more enjoyable time watching and you'll be more likely to get a mini lap dance.
Dancers are pretty nice looking girls. Only one that I'm aware of is a little bigger girl (although I wouldn't say "fat") and she's still quite hot. Some are alternative types; others are "girl next door" types. Very little ethnic diversity. I would say that the variety of girls is pretty close to Union Jacks with a few less alternative types.
There is very little pressure for private dances at the stage. However, you can bet that if you're not at the rack and a dancer approaches you and sits down, it's likely to be a pretty stong hustle for a private dance. Like I said, this club is unlike any other in Portland and, unfortunately, the private dance prices fall into that situation too. PDs are $35, unheard of anywhere else in this part of the country. From what I've experienced and what I've heard from others, they're probably about as good as you're going to get anywhere in Portland, but still legal. Other clubs have relaxed their private dancing "rules" in the past couple of years so you can definitely get a good dance elsewhere for $20. I guess it's not so much "hit and miss" like at some of the other clubs, but $35 per song adds up pretty fast. (Consider that Vegas VIP offers topless "full friction" dances at 3 for $40 which is essentially three times as long for the same price.)
