I stop by Mustangs every 6 months or so, and most visits its absolutely ordinary: OK-looking dancers, OK dances on the stage, OK wall dances. But every once in a while, I find a gem.

And that happened tonight. It was a very slow night: three customers and three dancers while I was there. The dancer on the stage when I sat down with my beer was tall and skinny. After a song I tipped her, and I could tell from watching her and from the tipping experience that she has been dancing a while; she knew how to move and how to tease. I tipped again during the next song and made some small-talk; she said she'd come see me after her dance.

Ten minutes after she got off stage she came and sat. She's danced at nearby lap clubs, and we talked about the inhibited lap dances that usually take place at Mustangs in comparison to the wilder dances elsewhere, and young lappers who think the game is trying to push you through the wall into the room next door. Then it was time for a wall dance.
