As others have mentioned, the CCR...
As others have mentioned, the CCR was recently remodeled due to the change in Virginia smoking law. The area that used to house the pool tables is now a separate windowed/walled off area where smoking is still allowed. The rest of the CCR remains unchanged. It's nice to be able to still smoke indoors at a bar somewhere, and nice for others who don't smoke to have a smoke free area... really, the best of both worlds.
The girls are usually high quality and attractive, and only do a walk through after their stage dance to solicit tips. Give them a dollar and they are fairly content. If you're in the CCR for about an hour you might have to tip out like $10. That along with the fairly decent food specials ($5.99 for a 6oz NY Strip dinner on Monday nights) and drink specials make for a cheap and entertaining dinner experience. They also have a nice array of flat screen TVs all around the club with sporting events on all the time... in case you get bored with the stage act.
Someone else mentioned earlier that there are now private dances at CCR. This is true. In the back corner of the smoking area (behind the small stage in there), is a small room with a wrap around couch along one wall and a stage on the other. The stage is small - about the size of the one right outside - but is situated in a corner with mirrors along both walls. The mirrors create a very nice effect. It's like watching three girls at once! It's also fairly well lit in there (brighter than the smoking area) so you get a good view of everything.
