I actually visited the OG twice...

I actually visited the OG twice on my just-completed trip to Vegas. This review is mostly based on my visit this past Tuesday night. As I mentioned in my review of Treasures, Vegas was pretty quiet this week and the OG was no exception. Very little stage action either night except for the last hour or so I was there on Tuesday. Although this place used to always be on my "must-see" for any visit to the city, I had skipped it the last few times in town as it seemed to have slipped a bit. This was my first time back since they remodeled the place a few years back. Not sure I really like the new setup. Had a chance to experience the booths with a couple of girls before 6 both days and it was OK but the old "dark corners" were just as good in my opinion and you never had to pay for that. Waitresses were very nice and never seemed to pressure me to buy drinks, nor did the dancers. In fact, the waitress was almost apologetic for the $10 beer price, though that is not terrible by Vegas standards. Girls here were pretty pushy and I could rarely find a spare moment that one of them wasn't trying to sell herself as someone who was "really good" and would would help me relax. Must have fended off a half dozen of them on both visits. Frankly, mostly of them just didn't impress me that much. Then again, it only takes one if she is the right one and I eventually found that one. Name was Olivia and she said she usually only works after 10 but had decided to come in early that night. I think she was easily the hottest girl there and she spent a good 2 hours hanging out at my table and talking. She talked to me into a few dances and did try to sell the VIP a couple of times but really wasn't pushy at all. The dances were very enjoyable though not, by any means, dirty. Sometimes just having a really pretty girl that you click with rubbing all over you is more than enough and it was in her case. I (almost) felt guilty about blowing so much cash the previous night at Treasures as I otherwise probably would have spent a lot more on her. Even so, she was great and actually seemed to enjoy our time together. As at any Vegas club, your best strategy here is to avoid the hustlers and wait for the right dancer. I've used that strategy for years and never really had a bad experience. In summation, the OG is not the hottest or most exciting club in town but it isn't bad either. If you can find the right dancer, I think you could have a "lot" of fun here if that is what you are looking for. Quality of girl here isn't what it used to be but there are still some pretty cute ones and they are definitely "friendly." Stop by late in the afternoon before the cover kicks in and you might find someone fun to hang out with. And, if you don't, you can always cut and run without spending a ton of cash.
