Looking to find a new favorite

I'll skip most of the description of CB's since other reviewers and I have gone over the basics more than once. Instead, I'll just mention a couple of minor details that typically have not been mentioned in other reviews. It's still dark as all get out when you enter from the bright sunlight, but one improvement since they put in some "new" seating a year or so ago is that there is now a fairly clear path from the doorway to the bar. Before that you'd have to bump in and navigated around one chair after another, but now it's go straight toward the L-shaped bar and you should be fine. The front side of the bar has only about 3 stools, and dancers often are already sitting there. Your best bet is to go to the right where the bar extends back towards the VIP area. There are 6-7 stools in this stretch, so you usually can grab a seat there to get your drink and survey the talent as they take their customers to the VIP. That's about it for today's "geography lesson."

I arrived about 1:00 and asked the bartender if Sophia had already arrived. Much to my surprise, the reply was "Sophia no longer works here." No other information was forthcoming. (She also had no been there on a previous visit, but I just assumed she had taken the day off and didn't bother to ask.) In my experience there over the last 5 or so years, Sophia and Brianna were the two gals who got the greatest amount of time in the VIP, and I certainly contributed many Benjamins to her during that time. Brianna is fine, and seems to be a favorite of many, but she's just not my type, so to speak. So, I'll need to find a new favorite.

I started my search on this afternoon by going to the VIP for single dances ($25 each) with 5 different gals who I selected on the basis of my preferred profile. Yes, almost all were Cubans! In short, all were OK to pretty good, but none matched Sophia. On future visits I will continue my search, and maybe double back to a couple of the better ones from today. I might also try going on different days than Monday and Tuesday, which has been my typical routine, since the lineup of dancers does vary on a daily basis.
