Hi, longtime reader, new poster. This is my first review. I went to the Pump House friday night around 10pm. The pump is located in the carolina Square shopping center, same row as Mickeys, but in the back corner. When I got there, the place was pretty empty. Pump house does not even ope it's doors until 9pm, and I got there at 930. First off, no dj, there is a computer hooked up to the speaker system, and the computer runs without anyone attending it. There is a jukebox and when the computer dies, it does get used by the ladies, of course they hit up all the guys for cash to put in it. This is an ethnic club, mostly black people, but around 1030, a group of mexicans came in. There were 2 dancers when i got there, and 2 more came in throughout the night. The cover charge was 5 when I got there, but I got 3 free passes from the Korean lady behind the counter. Beers are average price, 3.50 or so. As the night went on, the place seemed to collect the gangsters of Fayetteville. It looked like drug dealing going on inside the place. There were definitely dealers hanging around outside the bar, on the side of the building. Due to the bad element of people patronizing the place i will not be back. Now the dancers, Coconut gave a decent dance. There are 2 private rooms, well booths in the place and the dances had lots of contact, and lots of flashing areas that should remain covered.
