Was staying at Circus Circus and decided to walk over to Deja Vu. A cab driver offered to give me a free ride, even though it was only a few blocks away, so he could get the kickback from the club. The guy at the door must have been wise to this driver, as he asked me a lot of questions. I was to pay the same entry price either way, so it really wasn't worth the trouble from my perspective. Next time I'll just walk the few blocks.

Once inside, I could see the club wasn't very busy. I was greeted by John, "your host," who offered a special deal on a room: $50 rather than the usual $300. He also mentioned I would be better placed near the stage. I passed on the special deal.

There were only a handful of dancers around. I eventually settled on Maria, a young Hispanic dancer with medium-size breasts. She said there was a 2-for-1 special going on, though I hadn't heard any announcement. I had five dances with her for $100. The dances were OK – nothing special. She offered the same deal again, but suggested an unspecified tip that would allow me to touch her breasts. Since the dances weren't that special to begin with, I opted out, figuring I could do better. After another 20 minutes of looking around, I walked back to the hotel.
