I Always Enjoy My Time at The Den
I’ll start by saying I’m new to this whole scene and I’ve never written a review before. I’ve only ever been to two strip clubs and I can count all the times I’ve gone on both my hands. I’ve been to The Den and one other place both several years ago and didn’t do any clubbing all the years in between. But now, I’ve been to The Den multiple times over a short span and I’m hooked. Every time, my experience has been more and more fun. I realize I have absolutely nothing to compare it to, but it is what it is. I’m intentionally trying to establish myself as a regular who’s not afraid to spend and I think people are taking notice. YMMV and I feel mine is pretty high, so I’ll try to keep it general.
The space is fairly small, maybe even podunk, but that feels a little too rude. There’s enough breathing room. There’s a little lingerie shop attached, the bar, obviously, a main stage, two side stages, a room specifically labeled “Friction Dances” with three large couches, and a smaller VIP area with another three couches. There are two pool tables and some slot games too. The whole space I would estimate is around 3000sqft. Maybe a little less. However, the VIP couches are smaller and kind of lumped together; there’s not much privacy, but that doesn’t bother me. When you’ve got an ass in your lap, tits in your face and a gorgeous woman getting you hot and bothered, everything else fades out. I will say, there are cameras back there and there’s a stated “no touching” policy, but different girls allow different things and will position themselves so you’re protected from the camera. I’ve also gotten the impression management will turn a blind eye for some. The recent times I’ve been, the VIP has been pretty vacant; it’s not really closed off, you can see right in and other guys rarely come through when I’m in there. I’d say 40ish customers can comfortably be in the club with 12ish dancers. The lighting is good enough, you can see the ladies just fine, but it’s a tad dark, I feel. You can’t tell the girls’ eye color or the color of their tattoos, maybe that’s typical, but all the important details are plainly visible. The music gets pretty loud towards the end of the night when it’s more crowded. You and your dancer can either have a hard time hearing each other, or everyone around you might be privy to your conversation. Customers tend to mind their own business, but some friendly conversation takes place. It’s a safe SC, I’m never sketched out. Given the location, there can be a country/western vibe, but the dancers, customers and music are all fairly diverse.
They open at 5, except on Sundays, which is 6, and it’s a little dead until around 11. Maybe 5 ladies with 20ish customers, but this is how I met my CF. If you’re at the stage and tipping at the slow times, the girls will take notice and approach you, or start conversation when they’re up there. IME, the final three hours of the night (11-2) are fucking packed with people, but I’ve only ever gone on weekends. I like to start earlier, so at this point in the night, l’ll already have my favorite locked down and don’t try to approach other dancers; I can’t speak to how much attention you’ll get if you come later in the night. It gets pretty loud and busy. This is when there are 40+ patrons and 10-15 dancers, so the ratio is the same, at least. If you’re tipping at the stages, you’ll obviously get some love, but I can’t say I’ve been approached at peak hours.
The club is clean enough and maintained enough, with the exception of the men’s room. It’s fucking grody, but I’m sure it’s nothing you haven’t seen before. You’ve just seen it at a gas station and maybe not a SC. Drinks are reasonably priced IMO, $6 for a beer, $7 for a shot, happy hour is Open-7 with a buck off each drink, cover begins at 7 and is 8 bucks. You can also get an ice bucket of any 6 beers for $35. Occasionally, dancers will hand out cards for free cover, but this just might be to promote nudie night, which is the first Saturday and third Tuesday of every month. In the Friction Room, you can get a lap dance for $25, idk the price for 2-3 songs, or you can get 4 songs for $75 with a free beer. The VIP is $150 for 30 minutes, $300 for an hour, $350 for a champagne hour, or you can have a lady’s time for the whole night for $700. Obviously, you get more bang for your buck the earlier you choose this option. This is what I did the last time I went. I had my CF for several hours and she showed me a great fucking time. The dancers still have to be on rotation when you purchase time for the night, but that didn’t bother me. She went up to the main stage 3 times, but always came right back to me and proceeded to continue showering me with attention. I feel like it’s unreasonable to spend the entire time lap dancing in the VIP, so we took some breaks, just sat and talked, shot some pool, went to the stages and I got her some attention from the other girls up there, and she gave me a massage too. If you’re willing to pay and ask nicely, the girls are willing to spend time pretty much however you wish.
The girls are pretty chill and friendly in general; if you are spending and treat them like the human beings they are, they will be kind to you in return. I’ve only come across one dancer who I felt was rude and they have 20+ on their roster, from what I’ve seen. They are mostly white, I’ve seen one Latina and a couple black girls, but there’s some diversity in body types. Most are fit and/or petite, there are average sized women and there are some larger women as well. Most are tattooed, some of those have piercings as well. I’ve seen one or two BBLs, obviously there are a handful of pairs of super fake boobies, but most of the women are very natural looking. Last time I was there, there was a dancer who looked like a bona fide pornstar, if you appreciate that aesthetic. I think most men (and women, for that matter, I’ve seen a couple female patrons each time I’ve been in) would find the overwhelming majority of the dancers attractive. There are a handful of 8s-9s, most are 6-7, I personally am not attracted to larger women, so I would say there are a handful of dancers who are a 5 or below. None of them are terribly aggressive, but you will be asked for tips and to buy drinks, as opposed to them offering you a service. I’m sure this is unavoidable no matter where you go and they will take “no” for an answer here, but I still don’t like being asked. I understand not every customer spends the same way and it’s all part of the girls’ hustle, but still, don’t pressure me and I’ll make sure the money comes to you. I’ve been offered OTC, but it hasn’t followed through yet. I haven’t been very many times and it has all been within a short span, so I’m hoping it works out in time. I would not say yet that there are any ROBs, I hear these things can take some time to establish rapport. I have built up some rapport though and I would say because of this, I get VHM ITC. I have more fun each time I go.
tl;dr I think The Den is a fun time and I always enjoy myself and the girls there, especially my CF. I can see why some guys might not like it, especially if they’re used to larger or more upscale places. But this is Cheyenne, Wyoming, so if you keep that in mind, I think your expectations will be met or even exceeded. Treat the dancers with respect, use your manners, drop a few hundred bucks and you’ll be shown a great time.
