sinclair's Review

I went to the Green Door Lounge on a Friday evening at 20:30 and stayed for several hours. This dive bar strip club has been around since the 1970’s according to one patron I chatted with. I walked through a small liquor store with a drive up window to get into the titty bar. I later learned there was a separate entrance that went directly into the strip club part of the building. There was no cover charge, and Sincweisers were $4. There is a small main stage about six feet by eight feet on the back wall flanked by two mirrors. The stage does not have a pole. However, there is a towel bar hanging from the ceiling, which is employed by the ladies. There is a side room to the strip club that has two billiard tables. The women’s washroom is in the billiard room while the men’s washroom is a tiny closet directly behind the stage with piss all over the floor. There are two video slot machines against the wall. There are signs to not use cell phones inside the Green Door, but that order was not enforced.

There were only three dancers working on prime time Friday night. A regular at the bar said that a four dancer rotation was typical on the weekends. In general, the talent was above average for a dive bar. Dancers stripped down to topless. Music is played off of a TouchTunes jukebox with dancers doing three song sets on stage. There is a one song intermission between dancers. Stage contact is very good: breasts in your face, mini lap dances, leg scissors, etc. Supposedly, lap dances are available for $20 per song. I did not see a single patron get a private dance the whole time I was at the Green Door, nor was I offered one by a dancer. They take place right in the main room along the wall in plain sight of everyone as there are no booths or partitions in the club.
