Don’t go out of your way
If you are in Cheyenne with nothing else to do, this is an option, but it is not worth going out of your way for. It is a small bar with a stage where girls dance, sometimes topless. I wouildn’t really call it a topless bar. The “private dances” are held in a dining room chair propped up against the wall next to the stage. Everyone in the bar can see everything. Due to the lack of privacy I didn’t get a private dance and I didn’t see anyone else get one either.
I walked in and sat down, ordered a beer from a very attractive bartender, and waited for the show to begin. There were two dancers who took turns dancing with long breaks in between. I was told there was supposed to be a third dancer, but she was not there and the other dancers did not want to fill in. The first dancer, average looking, gave a mediocre dance and fended off my attempts at touching when I tipped. The second dancer, overweight but playful, danced a bit more enthusiastically, but. was only slightly more receptive to my attempts at touching. Both dancers socialized with regulars when not dancing and did not attempt to talk to me other than to thanks me for the tip. Neither tried to sell private dances, probably realizing the poor value it offered. They were both thankful for the tips I proffered, which was probably the result of most of the other patrons of the bar not tipping.
After I had been there about twenty minutes, someone, probably the manager or owner, came over and asked if I had paid the cover. I said I had not as no one had asked me for it. He said it was $2 and when I offered to pay, he told me that they would collect it next time. The crowd was friendly. When I commented about the show being tame, one patron told me to head to The Den south of town on 85 near the state line, or to Denver.
