OK, so if you read my review of Scarlett's, you'll know I was wearing my TUSCL reporter's hat last week as I busily checked out two of the hottest clubs in the Miami area. Tootsie's did blow my mind a bit. It really is huge and has something for everyone. The cover was $10, not outrageous, and drink prices were also reasonable. It was not too crowded when I arrived, which was probably sometime around 11 o'clock. The low-rent seating in front of the main stage was a bit uncomfortable and there were plenty of waitresses willing to get you a drink - I must have had 3 ask if i wanted anything before I had been there 5 minutes. I got a Heinekin. I sat there watching the stage acts for about 20 minutes and found it kind of strange that none of the dancers seemed to be working the customers in that area. I looked around and noticed that a lot of the girls were hanging out chatting with each other at a rail around the main seating area. The seats in the downstairs VIP area looked really comfortable and I was thinking about springing for one of them. My butt was getting sore from that hard seat! Then I caught the eye of a thin, attractive blond with small boobs (I like natural, so small does not bother me any). She came right over and asked if I wanted a dance in a sexy Russian (or maybe Serbian) accent. I did one dance with her - and it was very hot - and decided I had better check out the "Champagne room." This was a $400 decision, but worth it. My advice to all who want to spend this kind of cash at Tootsie's: have an idea what you want before you agree to go back there with one of the dancers. What ever you say you want, you can probably get, but each girl sets her own limits and if you two aren't on the same page, it could be disappointing. I was not disappointed on this occasion. If I am feeling like spending some cash for a good time, Tootsie's is the place; "extra's" do apply. If I am more in the mood for a hot, but pretty standard couch dance, I think Scarlett's is a little better.
