I visited here recently and, after several days to think about it, I'm still not sure what to make of this club. It's something of a dive in a basement, but that really isn't a problem for me, and it's generally a friendly, neighborhood place. One of the regulars struck up a conversation with me before I even found a seat at the crowded bar. At 5PM, it was filled, and almost everyone seemed to know everyone else, but all were friendly to this stranger. A mix of customers, which seemed to be mostly the local afterwork crowd, from guys in business casual to manual laborers, most more intent on drinking than naked women. Some of the customers were stumbling drunk, as were a couple of the dancers.

The club is in the basement of the same building that houses Vixens on the first floor. Small place, with a rectangular stage center-left as you walk in, bar to the left of the stage. Good views of the stage from the bar. The stage is at ground level, with the tip rail at waist-level. Bathrooms are up a narrow flight of stairs, with exposed pipes, to the left of the bar. (The men's room is a tiny 2-holer, and not exactly clean. No hand dryer or paper towels to be found. The women's room next door isn't even marked, but I saw some of the dancers using it.) Cover: $5; beer $3.50; didn't ask about lap dances. Bartender was inattentive, as she spent most of her time talking to regulars.

Had a beer, watched the show, chatted with the locals and a couple of the dancers milling about, although most were on there way to and from the bar for drinks and were engaged with others. Saw one of the girls, obviously drunk, swaying and grasping the bar for support. Moved to the tip rail, where there was no one else, offered a dollar to the girl in front of me (they were dancing two at a time), and was greeted with, "That was a lot of work for just a dollar." Nice attitude, especially since I had just walked up and no one else was tipping. Her set was over or I would have left the stage and probably would have left the club, especially since I got the same I'm-just-here-to-make-my-rent vibe from a few of the other dancers. Fortunately, not all the girls had the same mind set. A couple of the girls even tracked me down at the bar later to sincerely thank me for tipping, not to hustle for lap dances. Most of the girls were 6s, a couple of 5s, a couple of 7s, maybe one 8. (Some of the girls who work here - the more attractive, sober ones - also work the evening shift at Vixens.) My rating on the girls would be higher if not for the overall level of sobriety and attitude.
