OK, before you judge me on...

OK, before you judge me on the '2' I gave this club, hear me out. I visit clubs all over the country, and I enjoy both 'glam clubs' and 'hole in the wall' clubs. However, this is the WORST club I've ever visited.

Was in town last week on business. A buddy and I went to Deja Vu (a MUCH better club) and on the way back to our hotel, we let our cabbie convince us to try out Sheri's. $20 cover to get in, not a big deal. Club is dark, dirty, and small. Customers enter the club, then walk up some dirty, musty stairs to the 'club' in the upstairs level. Old (and I mean it) easy chairs are scattered around the small room, and the tiny 'stage' is poorly lit. Music plays from what sounds like a $30 boom box.

We arrived pretty late, about 2:00am. However, Vegas clubs are open all night, so that shouldn't be an excuse for the poor quality of dancers we encounted. 5 'dancers' were working that night, none of which was even a 5 by a generous rating. 4 overweight black women and 1 VERY overweight white woman who had to be mid-40's. Again, to each his own, but there weren't any women in the 'club' that I would have paid $2 to for a dance.
