Paradise is now the only strip...

Paradise is now the only strip club in Austin. The other strip club across the parking lot closed several months ago and is now torn down. Paradise used to be called "Hey Rube's" and that is still painted on the parking lot door. That's your only clue where to enter. When you enter, you're going to pass the restrooms on the left. the stage is next, to your left as you enter. The bar itself is run down and looks like it is being remodeled with a raw plywood decor and cheap plastic outdoor chairs to sit in. They did get the bathroom remodeled & that's a big improvement. There's a horseshoe bar in the center with decent chairs. Drinks are cheap for a strip club. $3 to $6. All the patrons are white & almost all the dancers are black! Everybody knows everybody else, including the dancers. All the dancers work here regularly. Be aware that the dancers will hustle you hard for drinks. Its a good investment if you pick the right girl. Generally, the dancers here are pretty hot. Spend a BUCK at the stage with any of these girls & you'll get a show! VIP here sucks! It is right across from the bar & elevated to the same level as the stage. Some latticework & lace curtains provide a sense of privacy, but no real privacy. Anybody, including the bartender or the bouncer, who wants to see what you're doing can easily take a look. Nothing like feeling like you are on stage when you're trying to get a "private" dance. That didn't used to slow the girls down, but mileage here has really dropped since the other bar closed. I got yelled at for putting my hands on a dancer's ass during a "private" dance. However, dancers can touch you as much as they want. For those that prefer it, take out is readily available after the bar closes.
