Mardi Gras has an interesting set-up: the bar is the stage. This seems really cool except you have to look almost straight up to see the girls when they are dancing in front of you. Paying a buck or two will get the girls to sit down and give you a closer look at things. The last thing I want is to get a reputation as a cheapskate so this set-up gets pretty expensive. Instead of tipping a couple of dollars per song, I end up tipping each girl multiple times per song. But I guess we don't go to strip clubs to save money anyway. This also adds an interesting dimension in the service. The bartenders walk through trenches in the stage, so it's almost like they have to run through a maze to get to you. It doesn't hurt the service at all, it's just an interesting set-up to look at.

The girls are all very friendly and attractive - all easily in the 7-9 range. I went on a Monday evening, so it was slow, but I didn't see or hear any of the girls complaining about it. They also definitely play favorites. As long as you're tipping, they'll sit with you, so if you're not one of the big tippers, you could go a couple of songs at a time without getting a show (this is rare, but it does happen).

The lap dance room was a big rectangle with small sofas facing the middle. There's no privacy, so don't expect much in there. Dances are typical in my experience - plenty of one-way contact. One dancer actually teased me for keeping my hands off her, so if you're more bold, I don't think you'll be disappointed.
