I had not stopped into Christies...

I had not stopped into Christies since it re-opened after the fire. I was met at the entry way by cashier which was a young guy dressed like a busboy you might find at a good restuerant. As I entered the main floor the floormen were all dresses in tux'es. The waitresses all wore red tunic type shirts with black skirts. I headed for the bathroom and eyeded the main floor. After going to the bathroom I took up a position that was close but not too close to the stage as I was not impressed by the women that was on stage as I sat down.

Ordered a drink and before it came a dancer came over sat down, said F@*$. Stood up and shoved the chair over to another table. Grabbed another chair from the next table and plopped herself down. Yes I ment to say plopped. She finally introduced herself and said she had just got off stage. My dring came, $7 for a mixed drink (more later), and one thing that has not changed is the waitress asked if I "want to buy the lady a drink." I politly said not at this time since I was not impressed with her to this point. We chatted for a while before she finally decided to move on.

The dancers I had watched to this point ranged from 4 to 7's and that was about it. They no longer used the long stairway that comes down to the stage from the second floor as it no longer has the brass rails and glass partition. I would not want to come down that more then once without hand rails myself. It still seemed that the ladies had there little groups that the got up from to dance then after they go off they went right back to that group.

Call me old fashion but what happened to the routint that if you got up and tiped a lady at the stage that she came around and thanked you for the tip on stage? Maybe introduce themselves and ask if the customer wanted to have you sit with them and maybe buy a drink.

Anyway, I had noticed what I thought might be a better looking dancer floating around the club but figured that she may have just gotten there. She came around and asked if she could sit down. I said fine with me and we started to talk. Said her name was Cede. Of course the waitress saw her sit down and was there in warp speed to ask "want to buy the lady a drink." I politly said in a little bit. I must say at this point that the house staff and dancers out numbered the customers at this point and that is not counting how many were in the back. Anyway after chatting a bit I was ready for another drink and flagged down a waitress and I asked if Cece if she wanted one. Price of her drink was $10. Drinks came and we continued to talk a little then she had to go on stage.
