I've been calling this the Last...
I've been calling this the Last Club in Maryland, since it was the only club listed on TUSCL that I hadn't seen in the Old Line State. This place is in a little town next to Hagerstown, clear on the other side of the state from where most of the people are. So far as I know it's the only club in Western MD still open, but there are some other clubs nearby across the state line in W. Va.
This club is in its own building (kind of like a big wood cabin house), but is semi-attached to what looks like a restaurant/lounge and bar and I saw staff from each place walking back and forth through doors that link the property. There's an outdoor patio that the club and restaurant might share? When you first pull up if you're driving from the North it will look like there is a little bit of space for street parking and nothing else. If you swing around the club you will see there's a lot with plenty of parking. I got here on a Saturday evening. Not too late, maybe 9ish. Walked by two girls outside having a smoke and into a small lobby with double doors and one way mirrored glass. The doors were locked, but I heard something going on so I start looking around for a sign. Saw the doorbell first, then saw a sign that said DON'T TOUCH THE DANCERS. Rang the doorbell and a lady answered, looked past me at the girls outside trying to figure out who they were then gave me a friendly greeting. $10 cover to get in. Not too crowded, maybe 10 customers at most and half that number in girls.
Once inside you'll see a bar off to the left that takes up the entire wall in the main club. A couple of TVs playing sports and a vidcam monitor. The bar only sells soda and water. Sodas run $3.75. It's BYOB so you can pick up beer and a thin selection of liquor at the bar next door. Once you take it over to Mitzi's you need to buy it back from behind the bar but it's cheap ($1.75 per bottle to buy back beer). There's a small lobby style area just inside the door with a couple of larger tables and chairs (places to eat?) an ATM and vending machine(s). Didn't pay much attention to it until an aspiring dancer hit the floor while trying to walk in her shoes (one of the girls outside, more on that later). There's another room off the main in back that has couches, armchairs and big screen TVs (that weren't on), with the dancer dressing room off to the left and back door leading to the lounge and bar next door. On the other side of the club is another area that has a smaller area with tables and chairs (kind of like diner/kitchen style seating) and down a step is an open area that has an 8 foot pool table and some surrounding small tables and chairs. $1 per play in quarters. The restrooms and lap dance room are also back there along the far left wall.
