If you put a better engine...

If you put a better engine in a Chevy Nova, you're still driving a Chevy Nova. RP's made a game effort of improving things, but they're still the ol' RP. Dropped by on a Tuesday evening. Surly service? check. Indifferent dancers? check. Yup, still the ol' RP.

But there's a certain charm to the Royal Palace that I can't quite describe. Perhaps it's the Stockholm Syndrome talking, as I live only a couple of blocks away, so I can just drop in any old time. There's a lot I complain about, but I still go by, plop down 7-8 bucks for a beer, and enjoy the dances a dollar or two at a time (with some exception.)

I've had worse Tuesday nights, I guess.
