Returned back to Rick's since the bust, but not really voluntarily. I only went because it was on the schedule for one of my boy's bachelor party. We stopped in about 1:30 a.m., an hour before closing, after hitting the clubs in Pioneer Square. I was usually a day-shifter and only went at nights a handful of times. I have to say that I was quite surprised how many guys were there. Although not many of them were getting dances. I didn't recognize any of the dancers so I'm wondering if there are newbies that Rick's hired. I'd say this club has a 50-50 chance of surviving, but it won't ever be like the way it use to be. It'll be a clean club and the main customers will be the newly legal college kids and those older folks who never knew how good things were back in the old days.
I was sitting next to a couple of college kids who had a dancer approach them. They asked the dancer how much and if they could touch them. So this is what it has gotten to. If only those kids knew what it was like before. Sad, sad, sad....
