I've been visiting clubs all over...

I've been visiting clubs all over the world for over 20 years but I've never seen this before! The club was welcoming and friendly, I turned up about 8.30 and after going to get some cash (the atm at the club doesn't accept visa) returned and paid my $6 cover. Once inside I discovered this is a cross between a sports bar and a strip club. All around the place there are huge screens showing every sport fixture being played. There are about 6 pool tables to one side of the bar and in the centre of the room a huge stage dominates. The girls come on the stage and spend about 2 songs getting completely naked. The lighting was good so there was plenty of woman on display. Then it gets weird. The girls move around the stage talking to each customer individually and inviting them to throw loonies ($1 coins for non-Canadians) at their bodies. Don't ask me the point of this, neither girls nor customers seemed to get anything out of it, except the girls get to keep the cash obviously. Once the girl has visited every customer she leaves the stage and the next one takes over. All very strange. The girls were mostly of a high standard although one had bad attitude, can't remember her name...sorry. The waitress Crystal was very efficient and friendly, the drinks were cheap ($5.25 for a pint) the wings excellent and the clientelle very friendly. On the whole a great night and not too expensive. On the flip side, there are no private dances, no interaction with the dancers and definately no contact. The time the girl spends on stage is the only time you get to talk to them. Have fun dudes and if you find the whole thing too frustrating the local hookers lie in wait right outside the club. Let's be honest; what else do you do in Calgary of an evening?
