I was just really lazy not...
I was just really lazy not to have ever dropped by this club. Heard it was a cool place. Also heard once I finally showed up that the place was bought by the family that runs McDoogals (which as I've written in many a review is not my favorite). I don't hate that place, but you wouldn't believe how many frat types raved about McD's so when I finally got down there all I could do was shrug. Right off the bat, this is a better club. Not a BYOB bar with girls and LDs. Night Shift seems like it's going through a transition with the new management and trying to figure out what it wants to be. Granted I had never set foot in the place before, but I'd heard enough about the lay of the land to know a new sheriff was in town. Dancers who were there that night were generally positive about the changes, except for the minder in the lap dance room. Can't say I was crazy about it either since it's not polite to stare...
Got a couple of solid dances and a reason to drop by again from one curvy latina who seemed more interested in talking social politics than about selling a dance. Got dances anyway and was glad I did. You can touch but don't go overboard, which is all regulars need to know about how things are for now. Another dancer I spent time with was a slender redhead who could also carry on a good conversation, but it was pretty clear early on she was one way contact kind of gal. Her set in back delivered more than I thought it would, but if the McD's picnic blanket on the lap isn't a turn off for any guy who can hold his own I don't know what is. I told her ahead of time out front those things are not fan favorites (it was even rolled up in its own little tote bag!), which prompted her to give me a feel to prove how soft it was along with a mini-lecture on dancer hygiene. So if the next question is why the hell did I get a dance from her, that's a good question. I guess I like redheads.
Was hungry enough to almost try the food but didn't (looked like a fairly extensive menu though), and one thing I did like about this place is you could buy a dancer a drink without feeling like you're getting kicked in the pants (and wallet). Let's see, what else? Has kind of a silvery, diner scheme going in the bar area which looks better than it sounds. The main stage (which was the only one going) had a rotating pole with a ring near the top that allowed a couple of the dancers to get creative. The chairs are reasonably comfortable and spread out in a decent layout (this is a good looking club if a little small) with what looks to be little seating booths along the wall to right of the main stage. Thought they might be used for cheapie laps but didn't see anyone use it for that purpose. It was still early so there wasn't anyone seated there at all.
