The Doll had been my favorite for years and years. Dancer & staff turnover in the last year or two make this small downtown club hit or miss. The Doll is small, clean and comfortable with a full length bar, flat screen TV's, and private lapdance room plus the closed off "red room" champagne room It's intown, so parking is always an adventure.

This is a bikini club with good to very good topless dances. The day shift can be depressing - often only 3 or 4 dancers. However, night shift during the week can be entertaining - just have a fallback plan for the off evening. Night shift starts at 7, but most dancers wander upstairs from dressing room from 7:30 to 8:30. On it's good nights, conversation and drinks at the bar with the right dancer seem to lead comfortably to the lapdance room. Dances are in reasonably private booths, some with curtains, and priced at $25 a song. Dances are full contact, hands on, with variation from dancer to dancer, but mileage is comparable to any club in Providence.
