I visited the club for the first time last night after reading about it for months here. I travel to New York regularly and finally made the time to stop by. I was staying in Midtown and had a 10 block walk to HLD...not a problem at all. The area is a bit desolate and the building has definitely seen better days, but I was not concerned for safety or put off by the walk there.

I arrived at 10:00pm on a Monday night and the place was fairly quiet. There were 5-6 customers and 8-10 dancers working. The schedule in the forum was right on regarding the dancers in attendance. Dancers tonight ranged from 6-9, in my subjective opinion. Once inside I intended to get the membership card, pay the $50 entrance fee, and buy 12 lap dance cards to start the night off. I was told that they are discontinuing the lap dance card program, so I needed to use cash for the entrance and lap dances. Kind of a bummer because I prefer not to carry that much cash around Manhattan.

After getting the finances squared away I wandered into the main room. The place was a little dingier than I was expecting, but previous reviews are accurate in the description. The dancers that were working were engaged with other customers so I got a Coke and sat on the couch and watched a porno on the big projection screen. After 20 minutes or so, Belladonna appeared. She is Costa Rican, very pretty, roughly 5'4", amazing ass, and perfect B cup breasts. She and I sat and talked for a while before heading off for a couple of lap dances. She was very good at the dances but I didn't feel the spark I look for in a dancer, so I moved on.
