The last review may be a bit harsh, and maybe things have improved slightly in 6 months, but not much. There is lots of hustle, but the girls are mostly friendly. They are their own DJ and dances are pretty much continuous on the main stage, unlike Browns that has lovely women but too long a break between rounds. The Rainbow is more of a dive, a bit like many in Soho, but gives you more or less an honest time for the money. I was there about 3 pm and there were about 12 girls working. Some were ghastly; most in the 2-4 range, and at least 2 6-7's.
The main stage is a traditional pound-tip strip pub; one song per round, but nude early on. There are two levels of laps. The 5 pounder is in a largish booth which means nothing very close. The 10 quid option is in a small room with 3 small stages with poles and close-by benches. The benches are close enough that with the largest women, which was most of them, it's hard to avoid kissing an ass. The advantage is that you can almost kiss a kitty except that that's not generally an option. The plus is that you can have two other nude girls working very close to 'yours'.
I made the big mistake of getting sucked in, so to speak, by the pitch that for 20 pounds, I would get 'dirty dancing', with a promise of contact. Aside from the quick bump by an ass in the lap, and a half-second 'kitty sitting on the the hand on my knee', the extra 10 got me nothing. In fact watching a neighbor's luck seemed more productive, but I don't know what 'extra' he might have invested. There was one guy at the last booth in the back with a girl on the table that looked promising, but I don't know what he paid or whether there was more than talk while she sat nude.
