Katz has been around for yonks. It's in a little car park in Basildon. There are doormen and it feels pretty safe, even if there are loads of Essex boys there.

Inside is a round bar, with moderately priced drinks. I can't remember what I paid. There are loads of girls. A stage area with seating surrounding it. There are lots of booths with curtains making them discreet.
