I went on a weekday evening...

I went on a weekday evening last week with some friends and did something that I haven't done for a while -- I stayed for a few hours, got a number of dances from a number of dancers, and had a great time. Normally at St. James the dancers tend to not circulate very much, but they were this evening, and there seemed to be a lot of new faces (or that may just be that I haven't been up as often). No one got air dances, and everyone enjoyed themselves.

The legal issues in Houston have definitely contributed to better talent just north of the city limits at St. James. The atmosphere was fun, like it was on my last visit when I was actually surprised at how enjoyable things were, and a higher proportion of the women were very attractive. In a way, it was sort of like Treasures from a year ago, without the predatory hustle. It was fun to just sit and enjoy the scene. Also, the service seems to have gotten better -- St. James always seemed to understaff the wait staff, but that has gotten better. I haven't made it down south to Heartbreakers in a while, but I am now curious if the same exodus has improved things down there as well.

So, wait staff is more numerous, women are generally more attractive, all of which makes the drive worthwhile. Be advised that this part of the county is very flat and not that well drained, so if it is raining cats and dogs for a day or two, you are one shower away from driving through axle-deep water, and this isn't a neighborhood that you want to be stuck in overnight. Just an FYI.
