Michael's has been a middle of the road club with cheap drinks ($1.50) before 9:00 PM and reasonable cover charge $4-$8 depending on the time. The girls are average with a few standouts and a few in the low end range. Outside of the club being easy on the pocketbook, it had decent places for dances without having to do a VIP room. Most of the clubs in Houston have moved to VIP rooms. The club changed its name the day after Thanksgiving. I am not sure of the official name, but it now a Latin club with mostly Latin music. Many of the white girls are leaving for other clubs in the area because they don't like the new format. Time will only tell if the changes are going to help or hurt.
