What makes a club your favorite is very much a matter of personal taste. But when I travel to Portland, my mates and I make sure to hit this club on a DAILY basis.

The place is pretty much a dive. You won't find glitzy decorations or fancy flooring, or even a decent lighting show. But what you will find are good (good-to-great) dancers, many of whom are intelligent, well-spoken, and very friendly. On midweek evenings, it's easy to start up a conversation with some of the women, and they recognize you when you return even if it's weeks later. That kind of personal attention makes it like going to a neighborhood bar or restaurant, but with nude dancers.

The quality of the private dances varies a lot from girl to girl. Some give you a great show, while others just do a canned routine that they've probably cranked out a thousand times. If you go to Acropolis and find a girl you have a rapport with, get a private dance and you'll probably think it's worth the money.
