I dropped into Centerfolds on an August early weeknight. There were around a dozen patrons in the club.

I was surprised that none of the patrons were at the tip rail. In the ten minutes or so that I was watching, one patron approached the tip rail for only a few minutes.

After a short time in the club, I was approached by a dancer asking if I was interested in a two for one dance (two for $20). I indicated that I was, and she excused herself to the bathroom for a few minutes. Before she returned, a second dancer approached. But she hadn't gotten started talking to me before the first one came back. Both girls were low pressure and felt more friendly than businesslike. And, it was refreshing to be approached in a club -- in many clubs it seems so difficult to get a private dance.
