I was in Palm Springs last...

I was in Palm Springs last week, and headed over to Popes to see if anythin had changed in the last couplo of years. Not much has, the place is a little older, a bit more rundown, and a bit more expensive. It was also almost totally empty.

There were 4 dances. Two seemed to be just going through the motions. I can't say I really blame them with only me at the tip rail, but the other two either enjoy their work, or have a high degree of profesionalism. I have forgoten one name, but the other was Jesabele. She claimed to remember me from the days when I lived in town and was something of a regular. It could be true. She also offered me a dance in the back room, but the prices were way too high.

So, it's still there, it's still overpriced, but when I'm in town again I'll stop in for old times sake.
