Nice Talent in a Divey Club

Was in Palm Springs last week and as other reviews have mentioned this is the only club around. Reviews are sparse and/or old so I was curious to check this place out. Arrived via an Uber at about 10pm on a Thursday and the small parking lot was pretty full, but there were open spaces. Enough cars to make me think it would be really crowded inside, though. No door guy or security outside, as soon as I opened the door though there was a bouncer and another guy behind the counter, both friendly. Bouncer asks to see my ID (no scan) and I pay the door guy $15 cover. They tell me dance prices are at the table beside the door guy. A lot of options here, 1 list of time based “standard” lap dances and another list for “VIP” I don’t remember the full lists, they had a lot of options but the prices were comparable to other clubs I have been to recently with one BIG caveat (more on that later).

First thoughts after paying and taking a quick look around were “this place is pretty small” and “where are all the people who own all those cars in the parking lot?” Place is a little too much like a dive bar with a stage in it for my liking. Looks a little rundown, big screen tv weirdly placed right next to the stage, bathroom right in between the stage and the bar. Step up for your set, boys, can’t walk out of that bathroom without feeling like you’re about to walk up on stage. They also had a bathroom guy which I actually found funny for a place like this. First of all, gentlemen’s club this is not, kinda run down and I generally steer away from clubs who have regulars dressed in gym shorts and tank tops - no offense to anyone here but I prefer to look like I put in at least a little effort if I’m going out. Secondly the bathroom is so small the guy had to stand by the bar, then follows you in and gets some paper towels for you. I found this amusing and tipped the guy a buck for his effort.

There were 4 other customers there, 2 at the bar and 2 at a table near the stage. Music was playing but no one was on stage. I went to the bar and ordered a beer ($7), Bartender was super friendly. There were 2 dancers sitting together at the other end of the bar, a couple more sitting at the 1 customer occupied table, and a couple more walking around. Most of them were a little too thick for my liking. “This might be a quick visit” I thought to myself. Then two things happened; a couple more customers walked in, which seemed to summon to the girl that had been standing next to the DJ both since I walked in that it was time to go on stage, and a petite Latina with curves in all the right places sat down next to me to introduce herself. She was a real pro; good conversation, you could tell she was hustling but she wasn’t being obnoxious about it. Plus she was pretty hot, I’d rate her a 7 in looks, 9 in fun/personality. She asked me what I was looking for, I told her I wanted to go grab a table and watch some of the stage shows, to which she replied okay but you have to let me give you a dance later. I agreed.
